Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter, born July 23rd 1970 is an American actress. She was Cordelia Chase, a supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999–2004). She also starred alongside Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012 strong>
Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine the bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandmother), French, German and German descent. Carpenter was a student at the Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas.[6] She was also a member of a song-and dance group which performed in Las Vegas Valley at nine years.
Carpenter Carpenter, who was 15 at the time, She and her family relocated to Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico [2] and later to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter has traveled throughout Europe after graduating. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and worked as an aerobics teacher, a videostore clerk, and property manager. She played cheerleader with San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles.
Henry Hubbard Jr. was a former San Diego officer and serial rapist who sought to subdue her and two of her male acquaintances while they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. as well as her companions were shot in the struggle. Both of them survived. Hubbard was arrested, later convicted, and sentenced to 56 years in prison for a series of robberies and rapes. Carpenter took Hubbard his police-issue flashlight on the beach. This flashlight provided crucial evidence in the case against Hubbard.
Carpenter was placed at No. 31 on AskMen's Top 99 Most Desirable Women 2002[30] and No. 44 on their list for 2005. But, Carpenter has stated she doesn't consider herself to be the sex symbol. Carpenter was photographed on the cover as well as in a 10 page nude image in the June issue of 2004. People magazine asked Carpenter in 2005 if she'd ever again pose for Playboy. Carpenter replied "I don't know." I did Playboy for a very specific reason. It wasn't just an investment in my financial future but also because of the point I was in with my life. After having my son, I gained 50 lbs during pregnancy. I wanted to go back to my former self. I wanted to be attractive and sexy. I was thinking, "What if I went full throttle?"
