Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best known for playing roles in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility since 2003 by delivering impressive performances in TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to attract her notice. The film was primarily for her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer from the documentary film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she deserved as an actress.
